Pros
- Wonderful group of people to work with - some of the best in Belfast - Remote working (still, though may change) - Decent enough pay though starting to lag behind industry standard
Cons
- Engineering leadership do not lead from the front when it counts - The lack of competent people leadership shows big time - No roadmap in Data Eng for nearly a year - Layoffs (3 head count) handled so badly it pushed many others in the data team to resign (from a team of 18 to a team of roughly 6-8 in about a month!) - Top down decisions badly planned and badly executed - a re-org happened with no plan or roadmap to guide data afterwards!
