* Good talented Co-Workers, but they are jumping ship and leaving fast! * If you are a 'YES' man and have no integrity, you'll probably love working here. * Feel free to backstab and lie as much as you want, the company culture promotes it. * If you love having no life and working 80 hour weeks, go for it.
Cons
You've been warned! Don't believe anything positive you read about working for this company. This is a sausage making factory at it's core. An indecisive, abusive, and fear-driven culture with horrific studio leadership. The only reason they have any positive reviews on Glassdoor is because they are FAKE. After CoDAW mass exodus, they can't hire enough good people to build the next game so they're resorting to these tactics. More about that below. Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield have ZERO integrity. They are extremely dishonest and extremely selfish. The only two (2) things they care about is (1) Their own personal bonus (which is $$$ multi-millions), and (2) the amount of control they have over their employees bonus. They will promise you the world if it motivates you to work you butt off (for their benefit). They will promise huge "Life Changing" bonuses, but at the end of the project, after you have KILLED yourself, it will go into their pockets. You will literally work 80 hour weeks for months straight. In the end, the only thing "Life Changing" about working here will be that you have no life. These two founders bathe in the blood of their employees. For Example: One week after the crappy bonuses were paid from CoDAW with lots of excuses about how bad the game sales were, Glen comes in bragging about how he paid cash for a brand new loaded Audi R8. Then went to Hawaii for 3 weeks while everyone was still crunching on DLC. If you're reading the FAKE positive Glassdoor reviews and seriously contemplating a job with this wretched company, you should know that these were posted by the NEW full-time recruiters and some noob employees at the request of Michael Condrey. He was pissed about the negative Glassdoor reviews from people who were actually writing the truth about his horrible company. Think about it, why else would there now be 20+ five star reviews since Sept 1st? Make sure you read the prior reviews for real truth! Also, go to Linked In and contact former employees to ask why they left. There should be plenty of people to contact. The attrition rate has skyrocketed since shipping CoDAW. Full departments have resigned. HR, Recruiting, Office Management, Executive Assistants, Character Team, Multiplayer Design Team, top Engineers, Audio, Production, Quality Assurance, Tech Art, and lots more have walked away with disgust. Many who are leaving the industry all together. Make no mistake, this place is a prison and you will be a puppet at the end of Glen and Condrey's strings. They sit at the top of the mountain with their inner circle of 'YES' men. They will not change! They will always continue to manipulate, micromanage, and lie for their own personal gain.
