Pros

- Easy to get an introductory sales job. - Many locations in the fraser valley. - Good chances of getting promoted if you stick around long enough. - Fun company gatherings, even though they come far in-between. - Friendly work environment. - Depending on location, managers can be very relaxed and accommodating as long as you perform your duties.

Cons

- Lots of turnover. - Low pay. - No real pay increases unless you get promoted. - Lots of changes in the business and how things are run. Must be ready to adapt every few months.

Pros

This company bought out my store and offered me a job. They told me I would be making increased wages, but withheld specifics until I had no choice but to accept the offer or be out of a job.

Cons

They lied. They refuse to pay for overtime and statutory holidays. They made me sign a horrific employment contract which contained such details as how often I had to bathe, and a non compete clause which was so broad as to prohibit my employment in the field. They completely cut the benefits I had recieved, I went from having medical / dental + profit sharing to literally nothing.

We're sorry to hear that the transition from a corporate location to our dealership did not turn out to be smooth for you. We as a company do not lie to our employees. We have a different set of policies, procedures, and pay structure than corporate employees do and the staff that transitioned smoothly with us on Vancouver Island are very happy, engaged into the business, and are doing quite well in terms of overall compensation. Since we are a base + commission environment, our staff earn more than what overtime and stat holidays would be paying and this is in line with employment standards requirements in BC. We can assure anyone reading this review that our employment agreement does not specify how often our staff should be bathing, but we do touch on appearance and professionalism with all of our staff along with our guidelines around presentability and uniform policy so that we have a consistent experience across all locations for our loyal customers. Transitions from one ownership to another are not always smooth and some staff members do not make it through that transition for various reasons. We aimed to match like for like where we could, while also maintaining our culture and viability as a business. Thank you.
