Pros
Decent salary for average pay in similar field of work with competitors/ aviation industry. Upper management allows you to work at your pace and make adjustments to your dept. as necessary as long as your willing to do it alone. For the most part you can accumulate time off pretty quickly and are free to use it whenever you like... so long as there isn't a big event taking place.
Cons
Very little, almost non-existent support from upper management. Turn over rate is ridiculously high and we are constantly hiring dept. employees. A mix of low pay and low employee morale doesn't make my job any easier. Attempting to implement incentives, program morale boosters or production improvements is an uphill battle because of the little support received from other management team members. I've basically reached a plateau in my career at sky chefs. Next step is working in airport management.
