Pros

I've never experienced direct marketing outside of the classroom setting so it was interesting to get hands on experience with the public & client! Was also nice to whiteness several promotions in such a short amount of time while I was there.

Cons

Long term this field is not for me, but I was able to learn a lot about communicating over these past few months. The opportunity to be successful with this company is definitely there but you have to be 100% dedicated or you're wasting your time!

Pros

As a summer intern going into my senior year, I gained real world experience in sales, marketing, training, and brand awareness. This job reassured me that I chose the right degree to graduate with (business with a minor in marketing). Pros: hands on training, competitive team, interaction with clients and customers, fun people to work with, and gaining confidence in myself to talk to anyone.

Cons

Balancing “wanting to have a fun last summer” and work life.

Pros

You will interview with people who are extremely nice and friendly but that is how they con you into their scheme

Cons

Do not waste your time!! This company is a straight up scam. They have a 4 tier employment model where you assemble a team of people beneath you for every "promotion". I went in to interview for what was advertised as a marketing internship that was nothing to do with marketing and everything to do with selling xfinity to people. They said that no matter what position you apply for, everyone enters with the same position title and level no matter their past experience or qualifications. The different job titles are all extremely vague things like assistant executive, sr. executive, jr. executive, all with no real job description. I could go on about how much of a scam and fake marketing company this is but the bottom line is that this company is a pyramid scheme using people as free labor to sell xfinity.
