Pros

You get to work abroad in a beautiful location. Some of the people you get to work with are nice. Uniform is provided.

Cons

An environment of talking behind the backs of others and negativity was allowed and fostered. (This may have changed but I highly doubt it.) Music with the n-word was allowed to be played loudly in the kitchen. Inappropriate jokes via the group chat name and within the group chat itself were very offputting. A thorough investigation from an outside source into the timesheet(s) would be highly recommended. These are only a few things I have mentioned. Just go and have the same experience with a better company.

Pros

- good ski time depending on role - help with getting seasonal french visas for non-EU passport holders - fun team to work in - good managers - good locations to work in - provide accommodation/food (at a reasonable cost)

Cons

- low pay compared to other ski companies (especially bigger operators e.g. inghams/crystal/some of the chalet companies), how much this bothers you depends what you want from a ski season(s) - UK office can be hit and miss depending on who you deal with but generally good. - owned by Travelopia, which is owned by a big private equity firm (KKR) who pays very little tax and generally is seen as a “maximise profit at all costs” type of company - which will often trickle down to the front line despite management being a nice bunch of people. Again, how much this bothers you depends on what you want out of a ski season! - not particularly diverse in its intake, but that’s not unique to Skibound, more of an Alps/ski season problem.
