Pros

Siteworx got a one-star review (may also be viewed as a Glassdoor.com con: zero star reviews are not an option.)

Cons

I wouldn't trust the positive reviews on here. This was the worst place I've ever worked, and the only place I've ever been let go from. After I was let go, I kept track on how the position I was in evolved - and it very much seemed like a "churn 'em and burn 'em" - and fire 'em - mentality. It's been a few years, so it's possible things have changed, but I'd be VERY CAUTIOUS about applying here if you'd like to have a job and keep it.

Pros

-brought in some of the top talent from other digital agencies (think Accenture, IBM, and Sapient) that bring in connections to wide range of prospects -A lot of opportunity to grow within the company -more new client deals closing along with existing clients which helps with job security -Chicago and Raleigh offices have a great culture and fun work environment -if you align yourself with the right people at work, they go out of their way to help you become more successful -small company so hard work is recognized especially to upper management

Cons

-going through a transitional period with a new c suite, a lot of people are quitting because of it -a lot of upper management is so obsessed with bringing in new clients that it has installed fear into employees. Leads to a very hostile environment between upper and lower management

Pros

People that I dealt with were mostly laid back with good senses of humor and genuinely interested in working. Everyone seemed to have a positive attitude and no one lost their temper. Compensation was also very decent.

Cons

The project I worked on was new and the team assembled to service the account was also entirely new. This created a disconnect in communication and expectations. I never saw a requirements doc and the project manager really didn't manage the team. We lacked deadlines, objectives and everything else necessary to come together for the client. The client sensed that and was aggressively rude because of it and went so far as to question the expertise of team members directly. They also went over all billed hours with a fine tooth comb. The company did not actively stand its ground or manage this client. Additionally, client facing documents were edited and sent by people who are not content experts. Although contractor pay was decent, payroll was not managed well. Failed to send W-2s/1099s out on time and even then did not have original W-9s. No HR to speak of. No direct deposit for contractors. The bottom line is that they made a lot of pie-in-the-sky promises, both to the client and employees that they can't possibly keep, given the level of disorganization.
