Pros
I’ve been with Sitetracker for 5 years, and I wanted to share a genuine perspective because I see a lot of negative reviews that don’t fully reflect my experience. Sitetracker isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. It’s a performance driven environment. You’re paid well, but with that comes expectations. No company pays top salaries for inconsistent output, and Sitetracker is no different. What sets it apart is that performance is evaluated consistently every quarter, not just once a year. You can’t have one strong quarter and then take it easy for the next two. The expectation here is steady, reliable performance and that’s something not everyone is comfortable with. From what I’ve seen, many of us who’ve stayed for 3 plus years have done so because we’ve adapted to this culture. Those who struggled or moved on often did so due to performance expectations rather than politics. In my experience, internal politics and bucketing don’t really work here, your work speaks for itself. Personally, I’m grateful to Sitetracker. It has significantly improved my financial situation, and I’ve been able to maintain a good work life balance by staying proactive and accountable. If you’re someone who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do, you’ll likely thrive here. It’s a fast paced environment, and you need to keep up. But honestly, that’s true for most industries today. If you can adapt, there’s a lot to gain.
Cons
There are a few who are struggling to Strive. Management has to look at those and ask them to leave. Then the teams will do much better.
