- Very, very good combination of bright and experienced people. Calibre of talent is very high both on technical and GTM side. - The market opportunity is massive and Sisu has a clear head start and technical advantage over others in the space. - Goofy, quirky, and funny group of people! - Hard work is rewarded well with comp, equity, promotions - beats offers received from FANG. - Data is transforming organizations. This is a great place to learn how data and analytics is applied in a number of sectors, from healthcare to retail to insurance, in case you ever want to go into a functional area.
Cons
- This is the fastest company I've ever run at and it's lean, so you'll be pushed to learn new skills. A number of more experienced leaders make it so that you are equipped to succeed, but it will be challenging. Google it ain't (though the max hours I work in a given week caps out at about 55/60, so I actually think it pales compared to many B2C start-ups) - Ownership over outcomes is a strong part of the culture, which is great for some people, but harder for others. - COVID is hard to deal with right now and is a morale killer (here and probably everywhere else)
