Pros

Great staff and camaraderie. Potential to make good money and good friends in the process. This place relies heavily on regulars. Sisley has great food that is widely regarded as the best Italian in the area. Overall this is a fun place to work. I paid my bills from my job here for close to two years.

Cons

High turnover and unstable management. Owners have somewhat old fashioned business practices. Company on the decline. There used to be 5 locations and now there's only the one in Santa Clarita. Not as competitive as the newer restaurants. Only the servers that have worked here for ever have a strong chance to make good money.

Pros

It was a great place to work. I had classroom training for 2 months to learn the art of customer service and serving food and cocktails in restaurant setting. I gained valuable experience and skills during this classroom training to upsell learn about the ingredients of each dish the particular selling items of the restaurant including knowing about the quality of food and how to get quality food for the rest of my life. I also got to learn about when tastings what to do and how to do it and I will take away all of this food conisuer tips and tricks of the trade I can't implement them at other jobs also.

Cons

We had to tip the general manager after each shift as well as our busboy. Tipping the general manager was a con in my opinion.

Pros

Most servers at Sisley will tell you it is one of the highest tipped places they've worked, and the tips are easy to rack up. Food is absolutely amazing. You really are selling a fantastic product and the staff is the best part of the job. My coworkers are like family.

Cons

The owners are pretty overwhelming and can make shifts difficult when they're on the floor. It's a great environment when they're not there, though. Scheduling has been extremely rough since trying to find new management, but it's usually a lot better than it is now. Hopefully that will be better in a few months. Be ready to work 6 days a week, that's pretty much normal here.
