Let me tell you a story of how I got Covid because of the company... One of the directors came back to the office to work the very day they touched down from a business trip, without masking up and without isolating themselves for at least a few days. They spoke to staff, so people obviously started getting infected. The company did not even put out any official notice nor sanitized the office after, following which it was extremely horrifying tracking down how it passed from colleague to colleague starting from patient 0. It was extremely fun (read: painful) that it happened to be a particular horrid strain from abroad, to lose the ability to speak for weeks and tastebuds for months, on top of the usual symptoms. The other director and a manager also provided feedback that staff have been taking too many sick days following this, which was so (un)kind and insensitive of them.
