Pros

In general the people are nice. The client treats you well generally.

Cons

Not forthright. Nor do they really know how to sell, get new client, don't trust their employees.... No 401k match. You can buy Obamacare for the same amount you pay for their insurance. Vacation time is only good for salary which few will get. They will not be straight with you. They will spin positive on amount of work or spin positive on your suggestions. Every time you offer anything, they will tell you the industry doesn't work that way.

Pros

Consulting provides more variety than a Corporate Position We work with C-Level and their reports on significant projects Consulting requires a high level of experience and you get to use it!

Cons

There are gaps between projects and can be challenging if you are used to a steady paycheck Some clients aren't as good to work with as others and you have to learn to take the bad with the good
