Pros

You work in an interesting industry and can seemingly have the ability to choose where you might like to re-locate to work at one of their TV stations. They are a big company and have a lot of people to network with and a somewhat recognizable name outside of the industry. An income, some potential to branch out into the industry.

Cons

The salary is still pretty low for the amount of work and stress of the job. Training and support services were a bit dis-jointed in the NYC office. Kind of a 3rd-rate operation in terms of the TV industry. A lot of corporate rules, policies, etc., that seem unnecessary. Gaps in communication between station managers and Sinclair employees. NYC office had pretty spotty IT and HR support. Had to set up my own computer, screen configuration, phone, etc. on the first day because Sinclair is too cheap? (not sure) to rent their own office space/floors in the building. It's good and bad because some of the AE's you work with are on the same floor.

Pros

Flexibility with my schedule to be able to take and pick up my kids from school. Great team to work with at my location. Ability to train and do jobs outside of my regular task to get hands on experience in other areas.

Cons

Department was restructured and my position was relocated.

Pros

Job can be fun depending on if you're a natural performer. You gather valuable experience interviewing others.

Cons

Terrible pay and culture. They will likely not pay you commission for anything you sell so do not take that on. Focus on your primary job.
