Pros

Casual dress work environment, extremely generous benefits when compared to similar companies. For the most part, everyone is helpful and supportive of one another.

Cons

The company has shifted from feeling like one big happy family to just another corporate entity, especially now that Barc Simpson has passed on. Branch management now seems to be much more concerned about the numbers and the bottom line than about the customers, users, and the people within the company. Employees are now subject to more write-ups and disciplinary action than ever before if they adversely affect the numbers, and that goes for both rookies AND veterans. The once-generous profit sharing has shrunk significantly in recent years, thanks in part to the company's new seeming obsession, buying up and absorbing other companies. Cronyism is rampant like it never was before. Barc would be ashamed of what's become of the company that bears his name.

Pros

I love my coworkers; they brighten my day. Food and lots of food

Cons

The company is unionized, so there are many roadblocks to implementing processes and holding people accountable. When you speak up about gaps, you get crucified and into trouble. Production lags with new management. Training lacks pretty bad The culture has changed over the years; no one cared about Barc's nine principles. That is what people use to say that there is nothing wrong with the company—not true. ISO documentation is lacking; I don't know how we pass. It is hard to promote yourself in a specific role or in other roles. All office positions are hybrid, which means that work-life balance is good. lean is lacking, but then again there's no accountability.
