The company Lotus Interworks (and its associated ventures such as Simplia Inc.) under the leadership of Bhaskarpillai Gopinath displays a pattern of behaviour that frankly aligns with predatory business practices rather than any legitimate growth-oriented enterprise. Instead of building genuine value, the operation appears to specialise in false promises: luring small, financially vulnerable contractors and overseas workers with the bait of “double your ROI,” “20× your growth,” or “join our AI platform and change your life.” Once the recruits are in, they find the reality is drastically different — cheap labour, night-shifts, withheld salaries, unfulfilled contracts, and an abrupt disappearance when the payout phase should begin.
