Pros
Beautiful hotel. Conveniently located hotel next to an el stop in the loop. Old building with lots of history. Great starter position for someone looking to get into mixology or gain bartending experience.
Cons
When I left the pay per hour was a little over $6. Tips & hourly are paid bi-weekly. The money wasn't that great, the hotel really needs to come up with strategies to fill that place. Lots of physical labor, as there is no barback or food runner. Prepare to spend the first couple hours of shift prepping, then standing around waiting for hotel guests to stop in. The micromanaging from other managers was really annoying.
