Pros

Good coworkers, nice people who were genuinely happy to help. There is a fair wealth of experience across the teams. Decent benefits. Interesting projects with a decent amount of diversity.

Cons

Not blaming the company for the 2023 tech layoffs obviously , but woah were they handled terribly - after being at Silverline for several years, I didn't even receive a thank you from management or HR - nobody. I was told my position had been eliminated and HR would be in touch and that was that. Really makes you realise you are just a number to these people and they could not care less about employees despite the constant "bla bla bla" that they do. Especially during these tough times, you would think it would be he handled with more sensitivity. I've been made aware that the majority of the media team (Shift company that was acquired within recent years) have been laid off too or are jumping ship, which makes me wonder why they were acquired at all other than the client list.

Pros

After working at both small and large companies, I can confidently say I’m really happy I landed at Silverline. From day one, everyone has been incredibly welcoming, and that sense of kindness and collaboration hasn’t faded. It’s a fantastic group of people to bounce ideas off, which makes a big difference in day-to-day work. Jason was absolutely fantastic throughout the interview process. He kept me updated almost daily and clearly puts a lot of care and effort into finding the right person for each role, it really shows. The benefits here are also strong. While the PTO policy is still evolving (currently at 10 days), I actually appreciate the clarity. Unlimited or flexible PTO can sometimes be tricky to navigate, since it’s not always clear what’s “too much” or “too little.” For those in the U.S., the insurance pricing is excellent, and there are a variety of additional benefits offered, including critical illness, accident coverage, legal support, and more. Overall, I can genuinely see myself here for a long time. If you’re considering joining, go for it!!

Cons

PTO policy, but as I mentioned it's a work in progress.

Pros

There once was a lot of cool people working here.

Cons

The acquisition destroyed the company. Benefits are non existent. Culture is gone. Almost anyone who knew what they were doing left and the ones who didn’t wish they had. Avoid at all costs unless you like being miserable and hate employer 401k contributions.
