The team is close, but it takes extra effort and proactivity to build relationships over the web. However, people are welcoming and the proactivity pays off in meaningful relationships in both the professional and outside of work setting

- Remote working since pre-pandemic with in person touch points means the team has built norms and cadences that allowed experienced team members like me to have focused down time and flexibility to do great work while collaborating and building relationships with peers. SVI has been a place where I've truly felt that the org supports its team members rather than "getting in the way" of work like other larger orgs I've been a part of.

- Need to be professional and autonomous. This is a great place if you're a professional who can work autonomous and collaboratively. It's not a great place for people who need to be micromanaged. Those who aren't self motivated to do good work will have a hard time keeping up amongst strong colleagues. - Get flexibility and give flexibility. This is a good place for balanced work/life integration but can be harder for those with rigid schedules who need complete structure at all costs.
