Leadership is micro managing & top down Leadership is not empowering people in their capabilities You need to deal with the fact that every 2 years there is the change of getting fired due to cost-cuts If you see opportunities for improvement, you are not applauded for seeing them, but you get a critical reaction because you did not fix it yet.

Cons
Silo-strategy, with departments and sectors setup as segregated, causes reactionary decision making rather than smart proactive progression in improvement initiative buy-in. Inter-departmental LEAN thinking can be challenging.
