Pros
Of course the view is amazing, and the people you get to meet can make it all worth it. You get to help make some lifetime memorable moments for couples and families which is great. The employees are part of a union, so individuals get insurance and other benefits.
Cons
Since management has changed, things have been horrendous. Regarding the window tables we have a policy of "first come first serve." Management seems to have decided that the rule no longer applies and they can seat guests who just checked in who they like, rather than guests who've been waiting for 20 minutes. The new management no longer wants to make moments special for guests, and is just worried about getting people sat, even if it is at a bad at a bad table. The job tasks expected of the position are not clear, and I've found myself being asked to do things that were never detailed when I applied. Most of the servers have a short temper and take their frustration with the guests and other factors out of your control, out on you. Think before you apply
