Pros
Base management is cool, work is always interesting and there’s a nice variety of equipment to work on. Coworkers are great, community vibe to it.
Cons
Lacks a lot of the traditional benefits of mechanic jobs. No tool stipend, no boot stipend, no training programs, no OEM opportunities, etc. No real path to advancement or furthering qualifications, won’t pay or reimburse for ASE or other certifications. Signature isn’t a mechanic company, just a company with some mechanics, and they haven’t put much into stepping in line with other fleet job opportunities.
