Pros

Of the four startups I've worked for over my career, I've enjoyed ThreatSwitch the most. Here's why: - Great people. The company is built around EQ. Listening, being where needed, and helping one another are core values - The product solves an actual problem, and there's an actual market for it - Leadership is honest and transparent about numbers, strategy, etc. - The tech stack is solid, secure, and isn't full of legacy code - We continue to make good hires - It's 100% remote

Cons

- If you're hoping for free snacks, ping-pong tables, nap pods, waterslides, or whatever other trappings of Silicon Valley startup culture, this isn't for you. It's a lean startup by design, and will most likely stay that way

Amazing team of smart, supportive people who truly care about the work and each other. Leadership is solid and approachable, creating an environment where ideas are heard and good work gets recognized. It’s been great to see so many people here grow and advance in their careers. The product is genuinely strong and something to be proud of. Overall, it’s a place where you feel valued and know the work you do makes an impact.

Literally everything else No career growth No educational opportunities. They brag about “campus” but that IT product training. Incredibly toxic Constant change, which is sometimes good. Inside politics Conservative company Tight with money. will invest in some technology, but not people Marketing Team as big as the sales team with very little results to show Poor implementation Poor support Crappy culture Poor communication Bad alignment Siloed departments
