Pros

Great place to learn an industry that is growing. If you have a strong PM, you can learn skills that cross over your defined "skill."

Cons

The travel approaches 100%, and does not take into account the travel time. So if you are travelling from CO to NY and you are 12 hours late with a report, three different managers will ask why you are late. Favoritism among members of leadership is noticeable to anyone who is actually in the office. Layoff in April was not handled well - I noticed that the leadership team hid in offices and conference rooms while they have always been out and talking to all staff when things are good.

Pros

A good place to start a career in an industry that is on the upside. It’s a small company so you will have the opportunity to learn different roles and gain a considerable amount of experience.

Cons

The company is on a downward spiral. Pay is horrible (nowhere near competitors), new process for determining bonuses are designed to payout less, bonuses are not being paid out on a regular basis, rigid processes are promoted in sacrifice of quality, productivity, and common sense. Extensive travel can be a problem especially if you have a family or significant other. Micromanagement by senior leadership tends to be counterproductive. Employee morale is low due to layoffs of 15% of staff back in April. Although there are defined career ladders the opportunity to grow is far and few. There are also noticeable signs of favoritism by Senior Leadership.
