Pros

Entrepreneurial company, with Sift Digital and Sift Media now running as separate companies (feels like the right decision). Same overall culture; very supportive of its people, nice working environment etc. Basically they really live 'respect for the individual' rather than talk it. Strong core competencies with significant potential in the businesses; not afraid to make changes to realise the potential. Good leadership. The CEO rating below refers to Ben Heald, who is actually now Chairman. Same rating for Sift Media CEO Tom Dunkerley though; both very good (and nice people)

Cons

Their market is changing quite significantly, hence the need for change in many areas. Some parts of the business have been more internally than externally focused, but this is recognised and being addressed

Pros

Good people on some teams with experience to pass on and help you with. Shifts are good as you can use leave to get more time off

Cons

Not a chance for promotion. If you do get the chance it's an online test which you can cheat on and then an interview which your mates can tell you what to expect.

This review may have been confused with a different company as we do not operate shifts and have never used online tests.

Pros

The company dutifully maintains a supportive and empowering work environment. They've given me the space to identify and focus on my strengths in my new role, and offer me full support in the areas where I'm weaker. Nearly all of my colleagues seem to love their jobs and are dedicated to the company. That's pretty unusual in my experience, and also really inspiring.

Cons

The parent company is located in the UK, with smaller extension companies throughout the US. Working in a small, remote office, it can be challenging to maintain a sense of camaraderie and connection with the other teams. But that's at no fault of the people who work here. It's just the nature of long-distance communication.
