Adequate salary, Access to higher management in Thailand HQ

Really makes poor choices in management of offices abroad. Almost as if they were transfer clearly incompetent employees to inactive posts. As a local employee, you have little chance for advancement within the company unless you are a Thai citizen or have a famous Thai last name. Inefficient organization almost like the Thai Government (who I worked for 7 years before).

Stable profitable company that spares no expense in administering and catering to its clients

Very political. Little or no opportunity for advancement if you are not a Thai national even if you speak read and write Thai . As others have stated, very bureaucratic and employees are rarely rewarded for innovation or exceeding expectations and goals. Once in, poorly performing employees are usually never disciplined.
