Pros

I've been at Tiny Prints a little over a year and I've really enjoyed it. I came from a well known valley company and can say the culture is a breath of fresh air. There are definitely issues, mostly related to fast growth and growing pains, but I can say the management here cares about doing the right thing more than any other place I've been (even if they're not always able to do what the masseswould like). The company even paid bonuses this year, in this economy, when my friends at other companies were getting laid off. the bonuses were much smaller than in previous years, but it was the thought that counts. The pay is good. Not great, but fair for a small, privately held company (about what I was getting before at a much larger company). The benefits are very good and the people are great.

Cons

The company is constantly in motion. We're always changing, trying new things, changing old things, adding, removing, improving, deleting. It can start to feel overwhelming and chaotic. I supposed that's part of the culture of "innovation" the management wants, but it often feel reactive.

Pros

I work with diverse and supportive people. Teams and leaders demonstrate the will to respond to worker needs with kindness and respect. On the operational level, teams are highly flexible and adapt quickly to changes when provided proper support. Work-life balance is high priority for the people I interact with.

Cons

The company has difficulty holding on to talent in tech fields since a good chunk of the focus has to be allocated to art/design and production instead. CEOs come and go every few years, leading to instability. For some teams, the process remains overly complex and inefficient because of misalignments between leadership/engineering and ops team users. No formal humanist policy around AI & robotics yet.
