Pros
I currently work full-time at ShootDotEdit and have been here for more than 3 years. I can honestly say it is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had. It requires hard work, dedication, and flexibility. I work with some of the most innovative, creative, and inspirational people who I learn from every day. We really are family here at ShootDotEdit. Together, we work hard to achieve our goals (and have a great time while we’re at it!). One of the things I value most is my voice is heard. No idea is a bad idea, and we are encouraged to share our thoughts and feedback, no matter our position. Action is actually taken from the thoughts and feedback we share to better the processes and systems within the company. We really do all work together to achieve one common mission. If a challenge arises, I know I have the full support of my peers and supervisors. I also have the autonomy and trust of the team to flex my problem-solving skills and make decisions for my role.
Cons
If you don't have tough skin, that may be a problem. Here at ShootDotEdit, we are very honest and transparent in a respective manner. We don't strive for perfection, but we make it our goal to ensure things are done correctly.
