Pros

- every project is different, allowing employees to build a wide range of skills (e.g. opportunity evaluations, go to market strategies, research strategies, program evaluations) - analysts have the opportunity to contribute to many aspects of the project (ie not just number-crunching) and business development (developing proposals etc) - breadth of clients allows for great exposure to other organizations across industry, academia, government and non-profit sectors - flexible working environment (opportunities to work from home, go to the gym at lunch, etc.)

Cons

- hours can be long (but this is to be expected at every consulting firm)

Pros

Flexible hours as an analyst and given enough time to complete tasks. You get some work experience in industry.

Cons

You will not part of the actual team and only communicate with consultants who reach out to you for help. Consultants have terrible workloads so you will be doing the boring and repetitive tasks they don't want to do.

Pros

Fast-paced working environment with a diverse range of projects and clients. Lots of opportunities to learn about new functions, skills and sectors. Opportunities to work with and learn directly from senior leadership. Limited travelling required which contributes to better work-life balance compared to other strategy consulting firms. Great benefits, young, smart and vibrant team.

Cons

Tend to get very busy towards the end of the year. Limited travel if that is what you want from a career in consulting.
