Pros

The honeymoon is great, but short lived - and part of their agenda (from what I've read on here)

Cons

Trainers do very well with dealers and manufacturers, the problem is the "shady digital" people. They want ridiculous, time wasting and redundant reporting all because they lack competence in communicating - to not only their own staff, but also to the manufacturers. The end result is is a tornado of angry trainers, confused manufacturers and shady digital management putting band-aids on everything that they can or folding up like cheap suits to try and make the manufacturer happy by adding silly add-ons, and dumping that work on the trainers laps. My team had 15 people hired in 2 years, 9 quit. Oh, any positive review on here is blatantly fake - they beg employees routinely to post positive reviews on here - there is nothing positive about this place, its a joke.

Pros

The skills you learn from day 1 at Shift are so valuable and this company is a great start for those who are brand new to the marketing industry. The hands on experience and mentorship you receive is truly priceless. Additionally, the culture at Shift is really wonderful and honestly hard to come by with other companies. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and there are a lot of fun events going on constantly. The vibes at the office can be very lively.

Cons

Employees, especially digital marketing consultants and team leads, unfortunately do not receive a livable wage. $39k salary is simply not livable especially in the economy we’re in. I also did not appreciate the company’s decision to mandate 4-days in office and force you to be in office even when all of your work is finished. On some occasions it feels as though employees are being babysat. I also unfortunately do not feel like executives see or appreciate the value of Dealer Support employees. Lastly, there are not a lot of opportunities for growth or salary raises based on performance review.
