Pros

Pretty low volume and easy work compared to similar companies in the industry. They also give everyone a free lunch on the third Friday of every month. Team leads are also given monthly budgets that they are required to spend on their team. They also offer plenty of bonuses for stuff like Employee of the Moment, Quarter, and "Never Miss Monday." Trivia was also always pretty fun.

Cons

There's a lot of racism and political discussion throughout the factory. A lot of trash talk and stuff you wouldn't hear at places similar to Sherpack.While simple, a lot of the work is tedious because they bend over backwards for their clients. The break room is separated off from the floor instead of its own room. The bonuses and 'perks' are attempts to make up for low pay compared to competitors. Weirdly enough, they give out gift cards from companies they consider competitors during regular drawings. Education won't necessarily get you anywhere here, according to managers. HR isn't always in charge of promotion and sometimes holds meetings for positions they can't hire for just to look transparent. It has apparently happened a few times now based on what people who work there will tell you. Brown-nosing and loyalty will get you a lot further here than hard work, which is why nearly everytime someone is chosen for 'Employee of the Moment' how friendly they are with managers or how long they've worked at Sherpack are the main points brought up. Also, they don't really care about disabilities and will tell you documentation is not a big deal until you get a meeting with HR over things.

Pros

One of the core values is fun and it holds true. Most people in the warehouse are easy going and helpful. There are also fun quarterly events that are based on team building activities that are usually fun.

Cons

Sometimes takes a while fore management to address employee issues. During high traffic times its hard to get time away. That is understandable but if you need a more flexible schedule during the winter that's something to consider.
