Pros
The pay "can be" good and you are helping the community.
Cons
Hours - Departments' are understaffed so each employee is expected to work long hours. Benefits - Very poor for a hospital. My wife works at a large regional hospital and her benefits are 50% less for the same benefits. Work Environment - It is brutal. Be prepared to document all your activities and keep documentation. You will need it when someone attempts to shift blame for their mistake and this applies to people as high as directors. I have been in a professional environment for 30 years and have never seen it so bad. Management: I have never had such poor management. Most people live in fear. Lastly, Management Lacks integrity and that is a major selling point for me. If you cannot trust anyone, it is time to leave.
