Pros
The staff here truly love the care they provide to the patients, really relationships are formed between family members, nurse, and PCT's alike. It's a blessing to see some of the miraculous recoveries that happen at Shepherd. And even if a patient's diagnosis causes them not to recover fully, the teamwork, education, and care provided to the caregivers of those patients is awe inspiring to be a part of. The support systems that are built at Shepherd extend beyond its doors even to patients and caregivers after they have graduated from their rehab program and continue along their road to recovery. The Shepherd Center is a gold mine of resources, love, and support for its staff and it's patients. I highly recommend a job at Shepherd if you are looking for a place to learn and grow as a professional and also if you are looking for a job that you will look forward to going to.
Cons
The middle management needs to have more trust in its employees and have better communication with ALL shifts; however, I do feel that large steps are being made to close this gap. Complaints are listened to and addressed efficiently.
