Family Oriented - Production Supervisor Shawmut Employee Review

Great flex for parents. As always you need to put the long hours when needed but that comes with the industry.

Salary growth is steady with raises but they could be better.

-Friendly Coworkers -Understanding Managers (my manager is what had me glued to my job and made me never want to leave) -Company understands what tools their employees needs to get the job done -All around great job when being given a reasonable amount of work per day and not being laid off.

Asks employees to fund their own appreciation parties - isn’t that a bit strange? I understand layoffs, but layoffs on what was already a very lean company/team seems like a poor decision and will drive the rest of the team to exhaustion. My workload before I was laid off wasn’t something a person couldn’t get done in 8-10 hours a day, so I question how work was being divided up between team members. There seemed to be some miscommunication between departments since I was begging for help with my workload with one particular customer and never got that help since the departments weren’t communicating and kept shutting me down.
