      Pros

      A good company to work for. A lot of long term employees which reflects in the way the company operates. While experiencing a slow down in the oil and gas industry has been able to maintain the workforce and expand. Long term outlook is very good.

      Cons

      They need to invest more in employee engagement and spend a little to ensure employees are happy and vested in the work they do. Team building is sorely lacking.

      Pros

      ShawCor has one of the best benefits programs going. Their matched contributions in the 401k are great and the continuation of the healthcare program at the level it is at, despite other companies dropping this is a credit to the business.

      Cons

      Their salaries are not quite in line with the industry, and while they promote within to fill roles, the remuneration is not always up to the mark.
