Company layed off and demoted a number of people a year before I left, and that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Instead of doing layoffs based on performance, they were done based on who was with the company by store. It should have been either by senority by market area or performance based layoffs. Doing it the way they did really lowered morale throughout the company.
