      -Able to help society with journalism -You learn a lot about different topics and writing

      Cons

      -Low pay -Staff was cut to bare bones when Shaw bought the La Salle NewsTribune in 2019 -Shaw cuts its rural papers to the bare bones and gives more resources to its other papers for places like Crystal Lake andJoliet
