Pros
Depending on depart and your HOD, your workload can be a lot or you knock off on time. Staff benefits are pretty good although pay scale is way below market rate.
Cons
Prior to the new management, colleagues were always helpful. There was no work toxicity until the change of leadership in 2022. Things began to went south with an overhaul of the senior and middle management team and this was apparent from 2023 where staff turnover are high till today. Not to mention there are constant meetings of all sorts that are unproductive. Communications are vital but meetings that strays away from agenda are pointless.
