Pros

-Coaches and lower level managers do their best to make work a positive experience -Working from home -Great overall company objectives/values, I am excited to see improvement in 2018. -no mandatory overtime, when your shift is done you can leave

Cons

-Policy continues to change, at the expense of front line colleagues. -unrealistic expectations of the coaches -Restricted PTO usage, you can't use your PTO for certain shifts. Regardless of how much you have. -Poor technology, and unreliable equipment -upper level management is very disconnected from the coaches, our concerns are rarely acknowledged/fixed -very little focus on quality work, which leads coaches to underperform

Thanks for taking the time to share your insights. Like you, we’re looking forward to a successful 2018. It’s also great to hear that your peers and leaders are committed to our collective experience. It’s truly a team effort. Like any growing company, we have faced some challenges; however, we are very excited about the progress we are continuing to make. Given you’re currently in a telephonic Health Coach role, you’ve likely heard about many changes to our internal processes that will improve both the customer and colleague experience next year, such as new software for a variety of our functions, and of course the exciting shift to move our customers to the newly integrated platform. Our senior leaders are involved in these decisions and take a thoughtful approach in making the best choices for our business while considering our colleagues. We’re supportive of a healthy work-life balance, as evidenced by our PTO plans. As with any company, requests for time away from work are evaluated to ensure we’re meeting our business needs, and not negatively impacting our commitments to our customers. Thank you again for your feedback, and for the work you do each day to improve the lives of our members.

Pros

Great team and benefits enable personal growth

Cons

The foundation model for their business is flawed, giving members points for being healthy is great, but often times having members take advantage of the remote aspect of the role, being rude and not following company requirements. Sharecare doesn't nullify or prevent this, causing coaches to be burdened with both angry carriers and requirements from the company. All while stressing about the metrics. Add in not fully explained job requirements until 6 months, where you are handling up to 80 calls in a day. With managers that do little to help mental and day you just need to be better.
