Pros

* Due to the overall young and inexperienced collegues, you will probably get a position with alot of responsibility, which can help you jump start your career * The kinship amoung coworkers is really great * The office is in a nice area * comfortable office chairs

Cons

* The office is basically a cult of personality-- everybody at the office is at the same level, except for one executive who makes all the decisions * The strategy of the company changes day to day, often times with little explanation or thought. This can lead to lots of useless work, and long hours spent to correct poor decisions * When poor decisions are made, the blame game starts-- in my experience, the blame was never assigned correctly * The people at the top of the chain command bash their previous and current employees behind their backs for no purpose whatsoever-- personally, happened in conversations with me at least once a week * There is no office or HR manager, which is a bit hypocritical at an office management company; also, because of this, when you have an HR complaint, the only person to complain to is the CEO, which can also lead to awkward situations * The strategy of the company is just not planned out, which means you don't feel that you are working towards something together with your collegues, and your work loses some meaning * You will likely have nobody with experience to learn from, as the company is so young and inexperienced as a whole * Management does not trust their employees at all, which leads to a lot of micromanagement and a general delay to any real work being accomplished * Long hours justified by "work hard, play hard", half-way mandatory parties * There can be a lack of boundries at SPO-- where your work effort can be criticised if you don't work 45+ hours away or even if your contract only obliges you to work 4 days a week * The few older employees we have are criticised for their lack of ambition

Pros

If you were able to make it through the SPO hell, every job after that will be breeze.

Cons

The team leads are way too young and inexperienced. C-Level managers are very much needed but the management won't make this happen, fearing their own incompetence will then finally be exposed. The team itself isn't really a team. Everyone is on themselves. Even at lunch everyone just does their own thing and sits somewhere alone eating their food. There's no proper onboarding, no proper introduction to the team - nothing. Again: Everybody is on their own. You'll have to figure your tasks out on yourself because the team leads and more so the management don't have a single clue. If you have questions, google it because there's nobody to help you.

Pros

Great starting salary and bonuses Some really fantastic people Limitless opportunity to pursue your own strategy

Cons

A product that didn't work or suit the needs of the clients Catastrophic disarray in overall strategy and operations Scattergun and upsetting approach to hiring and firing Outspoken characters fired for speaking the truth for the good of the business Zero confidence that you would still be employed at the start of each week Managers who were there by virtue of connections or favouritism rather than ability Amazing incompetency in many important parts of the business Marketing focused on flights of fancy rather than selling the product Cringeworthy use of fist bumps, 'go team,' 'rockstar' etc to build team morale Lies told to smooth over unpopular decisions and to paint a rosier picture than the all too apparent reality
