Pros

They pay well but it's not worth working in this environment.

Cons

Management treats their employees like dirt. They micromanage and think that by applying pressure and threatening to fire you that it will motivate you to work harder. They expect you to do the job of more than one person and don't understand when the work doesn't get done. Their processes are broken because no competent people stay working for a company this horrible. Their systems and IT department are a joke. Paul Manning is just like senior. Keep family OUT of a public company. I'm surprised the SEC hasn't shut them down yet.

Pros

There is a strong in-office culture with great people who are eager to help one another succeed. Business continues to boom with new developments and provides opportunities across a wide variety of roles for internal promotions. As a leader in the industry, it is easy to stand behind the products made at Sensient and allows for great confidence in what we create.

Cons

The company has a fairly strict policy on working in-office and enforces a business professional dress code, which can be limiting in daily flexibility but does provide strong guidelines for seperating work and personal life.

Pros

Customer-focused, results-oriented, high integrity organization that produces and sells exciting products in global markets. Sensient may not be a household name, but its products are probably in your home, as part of your favorite food and personal care products. This is a company that values and rewards individuals who work hard and help grow the business. A strong focus on coaching and development ensures motivated employees have a path to career growth and fulfillment.

Cons

This is a con only depending on what you are looking for: You can't hide here. This is not the organization for you if you prefer to work M/F from home (Company has always been 5 days in office), or you want a casual work environment. However, if you like a challenge, you have high goals for yourself, and you thrive on showing up, doing your best work, and getting rewarded for your results, you will love it at Sensient.
