Pros
The atmosphere at semrush is incredibly friendly. During my first week I received numerous messages from all parts of the company saying hi, welcoming me and offering help and guidance. It was by far the best onboarding experience of any company I've worked for so far.
That also translates to all discussions. While we technical discussions they are always respectful and solution oriented. Big egos don't seem to be a thing across the company. Instead finding the best solution for everyone and collaborating is a thing.
We get direct feedback from customers and solve their real world problems.
Speaking about enterprise solutions, hierarchies are flat and you can always reach out to anyone if necessary. The leadership is working at least as hard as any software engineer and supportive at all times. They are also very interested in day to day work, appreciating results and guiding in case of mistakes.
Apart from the atmosphere, perks are one of my favourite things. HR is constantly working on improving them. Things like an additional quarterly budget for a gym membership, books, concerts, et cetera, tickets for busses and trains and unlimited PTO are a part of a good work/life balance and makes me feel like employees are trusted on every step. I never had a day off denied when I needed one.
Semrush offers a great overall experience as an employee. I feel valued and if I share my opinion it is heard. People working here are smart and friendly.
Cons
There is not much negative to say. As in every growing company, there are periods with a higher workload.
