Pros

You get paid. It’s not much and it sometimes might not happen though…

Cons

Literally everything. Micromanagement was the worst. Save your time and energy and don’t apply.

Pros

Intern - Learning new business skills daily - transportation industry totally different. Get the option of not being stuck at desk for whole time at office

Cons

I really wish I had some constructive criticism to share, but my 6 months here have been nothing short of "I would do it again"

Pros

Good motivation to polish your resume and interview skills.

Cons

It begins like this: 1. You need a job. Owner will give a warm, enthusiastic welcome. You are excited and feel special, like part of a family. 2. Training begins, it is endless. Meetings and sessions are many hours long-you stay late. 3. Sales goals are reasonable-you get a base pay, plus commission. You agree-it looks like you are going to do well. 4. Everyone is new like you. The last staff were fired because they were lazy, incompetent and may have stolen from the company. 5. Vendors are angry. Trailers have no titles (because vendors await payment before sending). Trailers are sold anyway. Terms are COD or payment in full before equipment is released. 6. Customers are angry. They are missing titles, deadlines come and go. 7. Peter is robbed to pay Paul. You are invited to invest in the company or in a specific deal. (Some employees have even given their credit cards-not kidding!) 8. Owner becomes frantic, meetings increase. The whiteboard is out. Sales goals are changed-this caused you to miss your target by inches. After a few months, no matter what you sell, you never meet your goal. 9. More meetings, yelling, abuse. You stay late for this, more than once. 10. You notice the company is small, but there are multiple offices. For the size of the business, there seem to be too many employees. 11. You realize that new money coming in just covers old bad debt. Frantic pace is required to keep the doors open. You marvel that they are still in business and not in serious legal trouble.
