Selling Simplified did a good job of teaching people how to pitch a product. It was fast paced, but (used to be) a fun place to work as long as you were good at your job. The skills I learned here allowed me to get to the next level of my career.

The company did a lot of sketchy stuff. They would do things that ranged from unethical to straight-up illegal. It was easy to overlook at first but as I learned more it just felt more and more wrong. They also expect their employees to be loyal, but in no way are they loyal to their employees. Toward the end of my time here they were firing more and more people, and it constantly felt like there was an axe above your head. Meanwhile they were telling the employees that everything was better than ever and that we should stick with the company even through the rough times. Sure enough, massive layoffs came through and turned the once huge office full of people into an empty shell. I would trust upper management as far as I could throw them.
