Pros
Got to work remote. That’s about it.
Cons
Population Health division is like working at a daycare run by toddlers. As a licensed insurance agent, I was sold on great pay, benefits, commissions and bonuses. Training was like death by fire. There was no choice which shift you get. Saturdays are mandatory during OEP. Benefits package was totally unaffordable at any rate of pay. If you are a licensed producer, you have to wait six months before you can attempt to get a producer role. The “leads” were brought over from Medicare plan recipients and most were so angry by the time they got to me and other callers were spamed into calling in. Played stupid games in the chat all day for a $1. Commission structure was a joke. The first thing you see when you start your shift is, “we have the right to cut the bottom 20% of agents who aren’t producing”. Not a pleasant way to start your day. You might make $60K a year if you have ice running through your veins and want to be emotionally drained at the end of your shift Don’t leave your good job for this role!!
