Unethical Company to steer clear of! - Therapist Select Rehabilitation Employee Review

Pros

Pay rates are fair and for me, the rehab team I worked with was amazing. Of course, the company strategically dismantled the team b/c the facility didn't want a group of caring individuals whose main concern wasn't $$$ to be working together!

Cons

The company's program manager has no power and is constantly run ragged expected to do "whatever it takes" to make the facility you are contracted happy but in a 40 hour work week which they know is impossible. The Program manager answer to several middle managers and there job is to suck up to the facility you are contracted by with NO care or concern to the people who work in the facility. They do not stand up for patient advocacy issues and expect employees to keep their mouths shut if there is potential for upsetting the facility no matter what the issue is. I saw many employees fired for nothing more than doing what was 100% best for the patient within their scope of practice. They push to keep every patient at their highest rug level and their 92% productivity expectations are impossible. They will not provide any equipment for therapist to work with saying the facility should do it, but they won't either. They wouldn't provide stamps for the program manager!

Pros

Training is good for regular employees. Pay is great. Typical productivity standards for SNF, Assistants are expected to be at 90%. No company match for 401k, but PRN employees are allowed to put in so that is nice.

Cons

Manager training is lacking, especially if it's your first time as a DOR in SNF.
