Pros
-All team members are friendly and willing to help you if you just ask
-A lot of experienced engineers in structural industry to connect and grow with
-Hands-on experience and good, constant stream of projects with some freedom presented for your own research and learning if the project is new to you
-Management willing to be flexible with your schedule
Cons
-Pay is on lower end, will increase after a few months but not by a lot
-depending on the division, it could mean a lot more 'busy work' or just supporting larger projects
-communication between divisions is not clear; you could be called out for following a procedure correct in your division, but handled differently in another.
-A lot of workflow is standardized within the company, meaning that you will more often than not be following a procedure and not doing much innovation or development on your own.
-Very difficult to move up and not many opportunities presented.
