Pros

Decent pay, artistic environment, good coworkers. Interesting concept overall the task is not the hardest thing in the world however not a good job to plan for over 2 months.

Cons

Overworked, high turner over rate, MUST work weekends & holidays. No HR or benefits for any of the employees. Worst of all you work 6+ shifts on your feet, talking to guess, cleaning floors & mirrors, sanitizing bathrooms, and only get a 10 minute break! When you work 9+ you can only get one 30 minute break. Ridiculous. Managers are fake, if they don't like you they will find any excuse to get you in trouble, or fire you.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and an extremely laid-back environment. You also have many resources at your disposal like 3D printers, paints, power tools, soldering equipment, and PCs loaded with all kinds of software that you are encouraged to learn.

Cons

The owner Steve can determine your employment and choose to let you go without any previous warning. Lots of what you will need to do you will have to come up with yourself, there is no formal direction other than on Tuesday's where Lorena gives you a list of objectives on things to fix. Much like the work you will be doing, the plans for unveiling exhibits, expansion, etc., are completely unknown until pretty much the day of. You may get excited to work on something only to have it never brought up again. The day to day stuff is described by other employees as "babysitting" the museum because you will wait around, doing nothing or whatever you want, essentially waiting for a call about an exhibit that is damaged. Expect to hear a lot of the same calls about the same exhibits. If you are resourceful enough to remain busy you should have no problem fulfilling your own downtime, otherwise you'll be in for an extremely aimless day.
