Pros

Culture * People, people, people! One of the things the management team has definitely done right is hiring. The team here is welcoming, and everyone is exceptional * Lil Bits: a tradition brought onboard by an employee where we give personal shout outs to someone else in the team for something they've done that week * Monthly social, we do pretty fun things like karaoke, mini golf... * Gender balance: 58% women! Benefit * Fruit delivered to the office every week * Work from home policy 1 to 2 days a week (since last year) * Additional holidays days per year of service (since last year) Management * Great managers who will listen to you and have your back * Regular 1:1s and annual reviews to understand career ambitions and goals, and try to align with them Career * As in any small business, you can easily learn loads by being proactive but it can also get overwhelming if you are not used to the pace

Cons

* Prioritisation is still a big one. We are still pretty customer centric but it is evolving further as we become more data driven * Culture and structure is something that wasn't really set, and therefore had a negative impact on process and people as we grew. A lot of effort has now been invested to improve transparency, implement processes so that people are held accountable, and have roles and responsibilities clearly defined * The management team doesn't always have the right experience, but they've made some tough decisions in the past 12 months. They definitely try their best and have shown things can change and improve

Thank you for taking the time to write a response, I am pleased to hear that you feel management has your back and that they are prepared to make some tough decisions, also that they have invested in further transparency and more communication. I couldn't agree more that it is the people at Seenit who truly make it, they are talented, driven and resilient. I also agree that not enough operational structure was put in place around culture and HR as we grew which meant there were challenges as we scaled, I now know how important it is to get this in as early as possible. We are rolling out more processes and frameworks which should rectify this, but as always your feedback on this is so helpful to continue to shape it. These should also be helping people to prioritise too. If there is any more you would like to share I will always make time, I now have monthly open doors and we also have our regular pulse survey.
