Positive Developer Experience - Front End Engineer SeedCMS Employee Review

Before coming to SeedCMS I had worked for 3 other eCommerce agencies and SeedCMS has been the best by far! The owners of the company are very laid back and very easy to work for. Both are very knowledgeable about Shopify, eCommerce and web development. The culture at the company is also very laid back - we have a ping pong table, video game arcade cabinets and regular company outings. The employees are offered health benefits, vacation time and salary is more than industry standard (in comparison to my previous positions). We have a unique stable of clients consisting of some very well known brands which makes the day to day work always interesting.

Project timelines are bit aggressive sometimes.

Really glad I found this company and got my start here! - The two founders are both great to work with - 7 hour work days - Healthcare - Work with some talented/helpful coworkers - New hires are often eased in with simpler projects at first and gradually get moved to more difficult tasks - Low-stress environment with deadlines that are mostly reasonable - You get to work on multiple projects, which can help keep things feeling fresh - Overall, not too much micromanaging. Devs are trusted to handle their tasks

- The work was challenging at first, but eventually started to feel repetitive after you get comfortable with the most common requests - Small, focused agency, so there is not a high ceiling to grow - No 401k
