Pros

I've been working at Secfix for nearly a year, and it's been a great experience. The remote culture in Secfix is really thought through with tools and processes that foster seamless and fun collaboration and interactions inside the company. I believe this remote culture allows to attract a very diverse and amazing talent (love my colleagues!) and ensure more focus on achieving real business objectives, as the overhead of working from office (like commuting etc.) is removed.

Cons

You need to be organized and have good time management skills to succeed here. If you can handle that, you’ll find this place very rewarding. I do not believe that lack of the office is a con since there are opportunities to meet your colleagues in events like off-sites or to just meet for lunch or coffee if you live in the same city.

Thanks for your review! We agree - being 100% remote means we have to be super organised and more thoughtful about communication and sharing information, it's definitely not easy and there's always space for us to improve, but like you say, it's totally worth it.

Pros

Secfix truly lives and breathes remote culture. With the right tools and a strong company mindset, working remotely feels close and collaborative rather than isolating. Regular exchanges with colleagues happen naturally thanks to a strong sense of teamwork, and there are even company-wide initiatives that allow direct (!) conversations with the co-founders. This creates a culture where ideas are genuinely heard and discussed. The bond among colleagues is strong, and everyone contributes a unique perspective shaped by their different backgrounds. Working hours are flexible: aside from a six-hour “core time” where presence is expected, everyone is free to manage their schedule responsibly and independently. The platform itself is continuously improving, with development guided by real customer feedback. Transparency from the co-founders helps everyone understand not only the company’s goals but also how each of us can contribute to them. This openness offers an invaluable chance to learn about startup life, as well as the specific challenges of the compliance and cybersecurity industry—much more than one would at competitors. Feedback and suggestions for improvement are always welcome and well received, which strengthens the trust and culture of collaboration across the team.

Cons

You need to find your own way of working, there’s no strict handbook. But this is also something Secfix actively looks for in people: to succeed here, you need confidence, the willingness to push past fear of making mistakes, and an entrepreneurial mindset to add value both to your team and the company as a whole. As with most startups, there aren’t defined “career ladders” like in a big corporate environment. Growth here comes more from expanding your skill set, taking ownership of projects, and shaping the company together with the founders, rather than moving through formal promotion levels.

Pros

Secfix is a great place to work if you’re looking for growth opportunities and recognition, your impact really gets noticed here. The remote setup makes it easy to keep a healthy work-life balance, and at the same time, the team puts real effort into staying connected. Using tools like Gather gives us that “office vibe” without the commute. Leadership is approachable and supportive, and there’s a lot of trust in how you get things done.

Cons

The unique remote setup at Secfix works great, but it might not be for everyone. If you’re not used to a remote-first culture, it could take some adjustment.
